"2007 Year-End Banquet Celebration"
Current News & Happenings

Our August show is now in the books! We had a wonderful day at beautiful Bridle Trails State Park in Kirkland and the weather cooperated the entire day (unlike last year).

Our judge for the day was Paige Stroud who did a fabulous job (as always). Thank you Paige! There were 95 rides for the day, which was a good showing for our club given that a few of our regular north-end riders were not able to attend.

We would like to thank the open and non-pro riders who came on Sunday to school their horses. The club appreciates having all levels of competitors at our venues, and we are thankful for the added level of competition and experience that these riders bring.

Our general meeting was held at lunchtime and we were able to enjoy lunch while discussing club business. Our group of volunteers for the day included Genni Reilly, Cynthia Dees, Carol Greenhalgh, Shelly and Carly Crosson, Kathy Douglas, Sue Fox and Cassie Aaenson.

We cannot emphasize enough how much we depend on our volunteers! Thanks to all of you who have given your time to make this club successful! If you still need a volunteer shift to fullfill your year-end award qualification, please email Carol Greenhalgh as soon as possible to ensure that you are on the signup for one of the last two September shows.

The show results and judge cards are now posted for your review. We look forward to seeing everyone for the final two shows in Lynden! Stay Safe!

Congratulations to club member Tresie Wiersma and husband Joel as they welcome the newest member of their family, Benjamin Mitchell Wiersma! Born on 8/8/08 and weighing in at 8.88lbs!

The August newsletter is now posted on the newsletter page.

A few of the club members thought it would be a good idea to post the Warm-Up Pen Etiquette tip sheet with everyone out there who might be wondering how to successfully navigate through the chaos and mayhem of the warm-up pen. Please take a moment to get familiar with the general etiquette rules. There will be a quiz on Saturday and a final test on Sunday :)

Congratulations 2007 Year End Award Winners!
